Dad served in the North Atlantic, flying from out of NAS Quonset Point, Rhode Island and served at NAS Coco Solo, Panama, Canal Zone from 1942 to 1944. He flew numerous missions from NAF/NAAF Galapagos, Seymour Island, Ecuador. Dads loved the Navy and his friends he kept in contact with over the years.
