It deserves to have Bill's descriptive text with it, which is TEXT STARTS Patrol Squadron Fourteen [insignia] shows the eastern coastline of the United States, representing the area in which the squadron operated. Six ducks in flight represent the planes of the squadron. Colors: Sea, light blue; geese, grey-black; land, grey. [This insignia transferred through the lineage from] VP-14F to VP-52 to VP-72.
