The VP-28 Squadron Reunion for 2002 will be held at The Crowne Plaza Pensacola Grand Hotel May 30, 31 and June 1. We look forward to offering a special time with former Shipmates and their families.
The agenda for the Reunion will include a Banquet in the Blue Angels Atrium of the National Museum of Naval Aviation, a tour of the Naval Air Museum, golf outing, tours and shopping opportunities. Volunteers will be needed on committees for registration, reservations, hospitality, finance, Calloway golf event, tours, travel and correspondence. These volunteers will need to have email capabilities to ensure prompt response to individual committee challenges. We strongly encourage you to participate in this "Team Effort".
Lodging and event costs are currently under negotiation to assure you of a quality Reunion and will be published as soon as they are finalized. An email broadcast will soon be in place and many Pensacola website links will be published to aid you in finding information of particular interest to your individual travel plans.
A newsletter will be sent to those on the website roster but not "web connected".
Until the committees are established, contact me at robertgself@comcast.net or call me at (425) 820-7882.
