    Crew Two's Lament

Here we are again at 4.5
Wondering how the hell we stay alive

    Number 3 engine burning orange,
    The PRT may be shot.
But the plane captain says not.

    Radar's gadget is slightly bent,
    And targets we won't get,
Cause Pingry is on the set,
    Reports radar ghosts yet.

    Navigator can't get a fix,
    So we're probably off track.
If radio will get off the air
We can try Loran to get back,
But must likely we'll DR there.

160 hours this month have we,
and need a rest you see.
These long days we'll are remember,
As we go thru November, then December.

    And when June comes along,
we shall head for Adak with a song.
    Enough, enough, enough,
    Crew 2 needs a rest.
And they'll say, Along with you,
    or you are the best.
