REUNION: "...As a former VAP-61 squadron member and "Whale" lover I am excited about the A-3 Skywarrior Reunion. Raytheon Corp. in Van Nuys, CA still flies the surviving A-3's and has agreed to allow us to see, touch, and hear the remaining planes. There will be a reenactment of the 1st flight of the A-3 50 years ago, as well as other flying and static displays. This may be the last chance to be with the old bird before she fades into history. Many A-3 Squadrons are planning their reunions to coincide with the A-3 Reunion. So if you are or know a Whale lover, please direct them to the A-3 Skywarrior web site. http://www.a3skywarrior.com/.
