A BIT OF HISTORY: "...I was assigned to VJ-15, which very soon was changed to VU-5 in the fall of 1946. We flew drones off 45 foot boats with short catapults on the bows, and also flew them off catapults at the Navy Gunnery Range at Dam Neck Virginia..."
